INDIVIDUALS

I help people come together with their innermost self, to deepen their level of consciousness by learning to understand and re-author their underlying mental and emotional intelligences work such that they are better able to solve the complex problems they may face in their personal and professional lives.

To do this, I partner with individuals to expand and grow the operating system they use. Together we take a journey into the three intelligences of the individual (heart, head, and gut) to look at the underlying mechanism that guides their motivations, thinking, feeling, and ultimately the choices each makes.

Once we reveal the mental and emotional framework that guides their choices, we create a plan for testing the fundamental assumptions that make up their life instruction manual and rewriting those that prove untrue.

As we do this, we also add apps to this mechanism that enhance the functionality – values, strengths, life orientation or approach, conflict management, and boundaries. Once they bring all of these pieces together and begin using the new operating system – version 2.0 if you will – they are equipped to inhabit an entirely new way of being that opens or strengthens their self-authorship and ability to transform.

I support my clients’ development toward their new operating system in five ways. Through personal coaching, clients learn to show up authentically: whole.

  1. Practicing self-empathy & compassion: learning to pause and check in with themselves, regardless of external circumstances; to be compassionate toward themselves; and to accept themselves.

  2. Tolerating distress: learning to be with what is; to manage theirs’ and others’ expectations and distress.

  3. Processing & managing emotions: understanding, naming, and accepting their feelings and needs.

  4. Communicating feelings & needs: learning to find their voice, while creating a safe space for others to receive their message.

  5. Using their operating system “anxiety-management system”: understanding how it works and learning to use it to self-author, rather than self-protect.
